Hi! My name is Nona Waxman
So many have asked how I fell in love with herbs, it's a simple answer. I love all things that are created by God and I am inspired by the remarkable resilience and adaptability of plants and their ability to heal. No, I am not a medical doctor, I can not diagnose, treat, or claim to cure anyone, however I have a PhD in Functional Medicine, Botanical Medicine, concentration in Blood & Cellular Chemistry. I am also a retired nurse, acupuncturist, master gardener, and naturalist. I do know a little about health and plants. I believe our creator would not have provided a large variety of plants for us to use if they were not beneficial to our health. Not so long ago our ancestors depended on these herbs and plants to prevent, enhance, and heal. Here at The Cottage Sparrow we believe that doctors treat, but God and His nature heals. Our goal is to target, reverse, and eliminate root causes with a focus on prevention. I encourage individuals to make their own healthcare decisions, do their own research and in partnership with their healthcare provider.
